Walkable city, Great Hotel, and Aussie pies

Sydney Breakfast

We found Sydney, Australia, to be a great little get away, and especially liked the George's hotel, Hotel 59 near King's Cross. The included breakfast had a lot of options, the room was perfect for us, and we were close to the trains, but close enough to the action that we often walked.

Overview: Bought Opal cards, the best way to get around by train/bus Finger Wharf MacQuerie's Wall MacQuierie's Chair Botanical Garden Government House Sydney Opera House Rocks/Rocks Museum Museum of Contemporary Art Circular Quay Maritime Museum St. Mary's Busby Bore Fountain Mint Barracks Hospital Parliament Library Botantical Garden Ferry/Zoo Art Gallery of NSW Manly Anzac Monument Hyde Park Watson Bay Bondi Beach Bronte Beach Coogie Beach QVB, the Queen Victoria Building Town Hall And while we had a lot of great food, we really liked the Aussie pies... to read about it head to our recommended Destinations page and click on Australia, or, just click the picture above. Warning, LOTS of pictures, so it may take a second to download.
